At Bali Adventure Trips, we understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which cancellations, refunds, and booking changes may be processed.
Our goal is to be fair to both our guests and our local service partners.
1. Cancellation by the Customer
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible by email or WhatsApp.
Refund eligibility depends on the notice period before your scheduled tour or activity.
More than 7 days before the tour
- Eligible for a full refund of any payment received, excluding non-refundable third-party fees (if applicable).
3–7 days before the tour
- Eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Less than 72 hours before the tour
- No refund will be provided, as arrangements with our local partners have already been confirmed.
No-show
If you fail to appear at the agreed meeting point without prior notice, the booking will be treated as a No-Show, and no refund will be issued.
2. Cancellation by Bali Adventure Trips
In rare situations, we may need to cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Severe weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Volcanic activity
- Government regulations
- Safety concerns
- Insufficient operational requirements
- Other force majeure events
If this occurs, guests may choose one of the following options:
- Reschedule the tour to another available date.
- Select an alternative tour of equal value (subject to availability).
- Receive a full refund of payments made directly to Bali Adventure Trips.
3. Weather Policy
Certain outdoor activities depend on weather and sea conditions.
If an activity cannot operate safely, we will work with you to:
- Reschedule your booking,
- Offer a suitable alternative activity, or
- Provide a refund when rescheduling or alternatives are not possible.
Safety will always be our highest priority.
4. Changes to Your Booking
We understand that travel plans sometimes change.
Requests to change your travel date, pickup location, or itinerary will be accommodated whenever possible, subject to availability.
Additional charges may apply if the requested changes affect transportation, activity availability, or third-party service costs.
5. Third-Party Activities
Some tours and activities are operated by trusted third-party providers.
Certain providers may have their own cancellation or refund policies.
When applicable, their policies will also apply to your booking, and we will inform you during the reservation process.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take several business days to appear in your account.
Any bank charges, transfer fees, or payment processing fees imposed by financial institutions are the responsibility of the customer.
7. Non-Refundable Services
The following may not be eligible for refunds once confirmed:
- Last-minute bookings
- Customized tour packages that have already been arranged
- Services that have already been provided
- Tickets or reservations purchased from third-party operators that are non-refundable
These conditions will be explained during the booking process whenever applicable.
8. Force Majeure
Bali Adventure Trips shall not be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods
- Earthquakes
- Volcanic eruptions
- Severe weather
- Government restrictions
- Public health emergencies
- Transportation disruptions
- Civil unrest
In such situations, we will make every reasonable effort to assist guests in rescheduling or finding suitable alternatives.
